Profesional scottish rugby players, pah. If they are so good b*gger off to England or France, lets invest.

Lets invest the over paid girls wages in the roots for 10 years.

The income that provides these girls with their wages comes from the gate recipts from murryfield, so we pay over inflated rices to watch under inflated aussies sorry I mean scots of course.

Would it not be better to take the millions that pay for these ditrict teams that no real rugby fan cares about and put a full time rugby coach in every secondary school in scotland.

Imagine the difference when these 12-13 year olds in 10 years time who have had a profesional coach for 6 years.

We actually might be able to hammer Italy, rather than struggle.

Imagine the amount of people who would now be rugby fans, more people watching and paying to see club teams.

Imagine Gala or Melrose playing Harliquins in europe in 10 years time..rather than "Borders"..

I've had a thought, probably not my own thoughts as I probably read it somewhere else...but thats not the point.

If someone is such a danger to us as a county that they need a top level control order, are put under the severest house arrest...should they not be in prison?

If they are that dangerous I do not want them living next to me.

Should the law that passed not be something that lets a court hear the evidence and let that person hear the evidence against them, if they are a proven dangour the lock them up so they can do no harm.

We have come from this all wrong, and it looks like something to keep us scared...politics of fear remember.

How about the politics of truth?

Today I sent my first letter to my MP.

I am furious with her and her government, over the house arrest bill that was pushed through Parliament last night.

I am not surprised by her vote for the bill as she is chief whip but I thought I would let her know my disgust.

I also asked her the last time she spoke in Parliament on her constituencies behalf...well I know the answer never. But I also asked if that had anything to do with her being chief whip as I am unclear about that.

Wonder if she will reply to me, I wasn't too offencive.
