You've got 'lads mags', mucky mags, magazines that cater for women of all ages from pre-pubescent to OAP. There's magazines for gardeners, horse-lovers, car enthusiasts, music fans, DIYers, crossword/puzzle freaks, brides/mothers to be, computer geeks etc., etc., etc.
But, I've yet to find a magazine that fills the needs and interests of those who have reached grumpyhood.
Is it because we are at the age where our likes and dislikes are so diverse that we have become unclassifiable when it comes to a dedicated monthly read?
Speaking for myself, I like most types of music, have an interest in many subjects and subscribe to an ever growing list of grumps and grouches shared by many a fellow grumpy, so......it should be fairly easy to produce a monthly, even a bi-monthly glossy magazine (with not too many adverts)that would satisfy my, and many others, needs and interests........shouldn't it?
Wouldn't it be nice when paying the monthly visit to WH Smith to come away with just one, maybe two, magazines instead of having to trudge back to the car armed with a small forest of periodicals that barely satisfies my thirst for knowledge.
